Copper and Zinc Removal

Treatment for the removal of copper and zinc from shipyard waters has been conducted for more than seven years and is ongoing. Copper and zinc are often found in shipyard stormwater and drydock wash waters at levels exceeding water quality standards. Various treatment processes have proved favorable for the removal of copper and zinc to low concentrations and are presented.
