Mr. McKenney is a doctoral student of Engineering Management in the Department of Engineering Management and Systems Engineering. Mr. McKenney obtained his bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University in 1993.  He also graduated with a master degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering with a certificate in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia in 1999. He has also held several engineering positions in the Hampton Roads area over the past 15 years

Mr. McKenney's research interests are focused on production setup methods for complex multi-variable applications.  He is also interested in the analysis of production data to determine root causes for production scrap in an effort to reduce rejects and improve productivity.
