Jun Zhang is pursuing his Ph.D. in Engineering Management in the department of Engineering Management and Systems Engineering at Old Dominion University. He got his Master's degree in Management Science and Engineering at Nanchang University, in Nanchang, China.

His research interests are focused on modeling and simulation. More specifically, using discrete-event simulation to solve scheduling and optimization problems, as well as identifying bottlenecks in complex manufacturing systems. Mr. Zhang also has interest in using the theory of probability and mathematical modeling to help in the decision making process, especially the evidence theory.
