Student Organizations

There are several student organizations in the Mechanical Engineering Department. These include:

  • ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers),
  • Pi Tau Sigma (The Mechanical Engineering Honor Society),
  • SAE (The Society of Automotive Engineers),
  • MEGSA (Mechanical Engineering Graduate Student Association).

These organizations participate in design competitions, host guest speakers, offers services to the department and provide for social and recreational needs of Mechanical Engineering students.
