José is a graduate research assistant for the National Centers for System of Systems Engineering. He is a doctoral student in the Engineering Management and Systems Engineering Department at Old Dominion University. He recieved a B.S in Industrial Engineering from La Universidad Nacional de Colombia and a Masters in International Business from Lynn University. His research interests include Complex Systems, System of Systems, Knowledge Management, Situational Understanding, and Cognitive Engineering. His currrent research is oriented to identifying ways to define problems under a situational framework to help achieve understanding while observing individual's predispositions.
