The Transportation Research Institute (TRI)
The Transportation Research Institute (TRI) in the ODU Civil and Environmental Engineering Department is focused on addressing critical issues in the surface transportation system. The Institute actively supports formation on multi-disciplinary research teams to go after external funding and provides various types of research services to clients. TRI research activities are focused in the following areas:
- Transportation operations, including intelligent transportation systems
